The Cedar Valley Vigilantes are a non-profit SASS Affiliated Cowboy Action Shooting Club, proud home of Gunsmoke '05, the SASS MN State Cowboy Action Shooting Championship. We are dedicated to re-living the Spirit of the Old West.  We shoot original or replica Old Western era firearms (pre-1900) at steel targets. We compete against ourselves, each other, and of course, the clock...all for fun! We hold monthly shooting matches starting in March, and continuing through November, weather permitting. Our primary goal is safety; first, last, and always. We believe all participants should have a great time while they are here. We have a state of the art Cowboy Action Shooting facility, built as an actual western town. The twelve permanent stages start in the town of Cedar Valley, expand to the outskirts, and finally end up at the old gold mine. Each shooting lane is separated by an 8 ft. high railroad tie wall, re-enforced for maximum safety. We even have a huge, authentic four tower Old Western Army Fort, that is home to the clubhouse. We believe in large close targets, and un-complicated shooting scenarios. So if your looking for one heck of a good shooting club and friendly folks, come on out and join us. Everyone is welcome.
